We are hiring for this role to support our company Invested Better. This position will report directly to the Invested Better team and focus exclusively on those projects.
Invested Better is changing the way investors find and connect with financial advisors. We're using AI to make it faster and easier for individuals to start a conversation with a financial advisor that is ideally matched to them.
About the role
We are seeking a Marketing Project Manager. This role focuses on supporting all aspects of Invested Better including financial advisory lead-gen, planning, execution, and delivery of the brand’s marketing, and creative initiatives. As the Project Manager, you will work closely with internal and agency teams to help support operational initiatives and ensure projects are aligned with the business objectives and completed on time.
In this position, you will oversee all projects, from clarifying requirements to managing timelines, and budgets, and communicating with key stakeholders. You’ll play a vital role in keeping the team organized and on track, driving productivity, and ensuring all deliverables meet high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Fully understand the company’s objectives, priorities, and project goals, and articulate them clearly.
Project manage high-level marketing initiatives, priorities, and day-to-day project activities for the in-house team.
Develop and oversee detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets while proactively identifying and mitigating risks.
Act as the central point of communication between internal teams, fostering collaboration and alignment around project goals.
Manage all email marketing strategies, ensuring campaigns align with brand objectives, are delivered on schedule, and achieve key performance goals.
Help coordinate sales team efforts by managing the creation of sales collateral and resources to support business development initiatives.
Oversee and enhance the customer onboarding process, ensuring smooth transitions and exceptional client experiences.
Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with internal stakeholders to ensure clarity, alignment, and swift resolution of issues.
Work closely with the marketing manager and paid media team to ensure seamless execution of initiatives.
Monitor project progress, manage schedules, budgets, and resource assignments, and ensure deliverables align with internal standards.
Conduct quality assurance on all deliverables to ensure accuracy and alignment with brand guidelines and objectives.
Keep all company documents organized and filed
Provide high-level strategic expertise while demonstrating a willingness to dive into the details of projects when needed, showcasing flexibility, teamwork, and adaptability.
Identify new opportunities to improve marketing effectiveness and drive results for the brand.
Facilitate regular status meetings, provide insights, and ensure project deliverables align with business objectives.
Recap and debrief completed projects, documenting lessons learned and sharing insights with the team.
Job requirements
Experience: 6+ years in marketing or project management, with a proven track record in an in-house or agency environment.
Education: BA/BS degree in marketing, business, or equivalent experience
Skills and Expertise:
Strong understanding of project management methodologies and marketing principles.
Experience managing lead generation funnels, media campaigns, email marketing
Excellent presentation, written, and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, effectively, and promptly with internal teams and stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Asana, Slack, Zoho), G Suite, and analytical tools.
Highly detail-oriented with an exceptional eye for accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of project execution.
Organized and solution-focused, with a "Type A" personality: driven, meticulous, and always striving for perfection.
Entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to wear multiple hats and solve complex problems.
Strong critical thinking, detail orientation, and multitasking skills.
Flexible team player with a collaborative spirit and the ability to seamlessly switch between strategic and tactical roles as needed.
Calm under pressure, self-motivated, and eager to learn new skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Background in marketing or advertising.
Familiarity with the wealth management or financial services industry is a plus.

Location
Our office is in Laguna Beach, CA. While candidates within a nearby radius are highly desired, we are open to remote applicants with the right experience.
