Overview of the Role

The Social Media Manager will be responsible for the overall creation and management of social media content, posts, and analysis for our owned brands. The Social Media Manager will help establish our organization’s online presence and brand value by promoting the company and its products or services through the use of videos, photos, reels, etc. on social media platforms. This job is for you if you live on Instagram and TikTok, if you are the first person to try new features.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the internal marketing team to establish goals and objectives

  • Develop and social media campaigns based on company KPIs

  • Update social media content across all channels

  • Write copy for posts and maintain a content calendar

  • Engage with viewers and manage comments and communication via social media

  • Use social media marketing tools such as Hootsuite and Planoly

  • Monitor campaigns and analyzes data obtained through social media posts

  • Recommend and develop content based on trends and client goals

  • Stay up to date on best practices

  • Communicate effectively to all stakeholders including senior management and content developers

  • Other duties as assigned

Job requirements

Experience

  • 1-3 years of related experience

  • Ideal experience setting up, managing, and optimizing campaigns in the following channels
    • Instagram

    • TikTok

    • Facebook

    • Youtube

  • Must be extremely detail-oriented, passionate about marketing, content creation, and data analysis, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Must be proficient in Google docs and spreadsheets

Essential Skill Set

  • Excellent communication skills

  • An eye for design

  • High level of organization

  • Strong work ethic

  • Experienced with CRM, project management, and data reporting software tools preferred

  • Quick to adapt and learn new software and systems

  • Professional conduct within and outside the office while conducting agency business

  • Comfortable on video conference calls

  • Self-motivated, committed, tenacious, and goal-oriented.
