We are seeking an Ad Creative Copywriter/Strategist to join our team! The Creative Strategist plays a crucial role in bridging the gap between creative concepts and strategic marketing initiatives. This individual is tasked with crafting compelling digital ads that resonate with target audiences, using a blend of impactful copy, engaging design, and data-driven insights. As a Creative Strategist, you should have strong copywriting skills and a knack for creating a clear actionable brief for designers. You should be great at competitive analysis and have an obsession with data and optimization. This role will work closely with a marketing team or “Pod” to grow and scale client accounts. The Creative Strategist knows how and when to bring in copywriters, designers, and actors as necessary to produce winning ads.

Creative Strategist Responsibilities:

  • Oversee execution of all ads from ideation to copy to design

  • Understand advertising best practices and create ads for a variety of platforms (Meta, YouTube, TikTok, Native, Rumble, Google Search, Email… etc)

  • Perform deep campaign and product research to understand what the target audience truly wants

  • Work with copywriters and designers to produce effective ads

  • Work with growth strategists, funnel strategists, and media buyers to align on messaging and strategy

  • Perform ad creative audits and come up with suggestions to improve performance

  • Performs Conversion Rate optimization: Monitor ads regularly and set up a/b test (min: 1x per week - 1x per month depending on traffic levels)

  • Log all A/B tests and document findings

  • Deliver presentations on findings and strategies to both the internal team and clients.

Compensation:

  • Salary range $50,000-$75,000

Job requirements

  • 2-3 years experience in marketing strategy, copywriting, or video editing within a marketing agency or similar environment.

  • An ability to interpret ad account data and derive actionable insights.

  • Has at least 1 year of experience writing or editing ads for Meta & YouTube.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

  • Creative and strategic thinker with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

  • Experience in writing direct response ad copy is required.

  • Experience as a video editor is a plus

  • The position is hybrid and requires 3 days onsite
