We’re looking for a Creative Operations Manager to lead the operational arm of our Creative Division. Working in tandem with the Creative Director, this person will oversee our team of creatives, manage and optimize our creative processes, and be a key player in scaling our creative division!
The ideal candidate should have a keen sensitivity to creative workload(s) and project deadlines, with the ability to shift and balance priorities based on the overall volume of work.
This individual will develop the operational infrastructure of the creative department to increase timeliness and communications while supporting the creative development process. S/he will add operational efficiency to the creative workflow process by using best practices and tools to streamline and structure the way creative work is produced within our agency.
Ideally, this position will work, at least half-time out of our Laguna Office. But remote, or hybrid work accommodations can be made for the right candidate.
The emphasis of this position will be two-fold, as listed below.
Key to the success of this position is the ability to train and develop the creative department of our company. A general overview of this portion of the role is as follows:
Collaborate with other department leaders to ensure the creative team has a consistent understanding of the products and services Strikepoint can offer to help grow our clients’ accounts.
Establish benchmarks and rules of engagement to ensure the creative team is aligned with expectations, milestones, and KPIs related to client success.
Lead weekly Creative Team meetings.
Play a key role in hiring, training, and developing members of the creative team.
Develop all members of the creative team through monthly one-on-ones and ongoing feedback and performance assessment.
Maintain/improve account financials, protecting existing business, and generating organic growth.
Forecast budgets and sales goals; ensuring delivery of client expectations. Work with leadership and other directors to define products, pricing, and profitability.
Work with finance to ensure timely and accurate client billing/payments.

Ideally, be able to commute into our Laguna Beach HQ and lead our in-house creative team. Though remote accommodations will be considered for the right candidate.
Degree in Marketing, Design, or related field. Equivalent work experience will also be considered in lieu of a college degree.
Agency Experience is a strong plus
Strong experience in design and marketing
Strong experience managing direct reports
Technically savvy, comfortable using multiple software applications (i.e., proficiency in Word, Excel, Photoshop, CRM systems, etc...)
Excellent organizational skills, including attention to precise details
Strong multitasking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Copywriting skills are a plus
