Job description
The Entry-Level Affiliate Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day management of Strikepoint’s client’s email marketing programs. This includes coordinating email advertising campaigns to drive client revenue, managing existing affiliate relationships with advertisers and publishers, and assisting with campaign performance reporting. The Affiliate Coordinator will support the affiliate advertising team by coordinating the setup and execution of email advertising campaigns, keeping daily tabs on media budgets and campaign performance, and optimizing campaigns for maximum effectiveness.
This position requires the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for digital marketing, a desire to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment, an eye for detail, and the ability to build great personal and professional relationships.
Responsibilities
Assist with the execution of email marketing campaigns between advertisers and publishers to recruit and retain affiliates.
Assist with the management of affiliate relationships, including onboarding new affiliates, providing ongoing updates, and resolving any issues.
Track communication between advertisers and publishers to ensure client needs are met.
Assist with reporting for affiliate campaigns, including analyzing performance data in Google Sheets.
Track media spend and performance daily to ensure we are filling budgets and hitting client KPIs.
Analyze affiliate program performance and identify ways to optimize results.
Work with the digital media team to develop and implement new affiliate marketing initiatives.
Oversee the setup and delivery of dedicated email ads, including pulling HTML files and trafficking them to our network of publishing partners, (knowledge of HTML is a plus)
Integration of client lead forms with all internal platforms via such programs as Zapier, ClickFunnels, etc.
Ensuring all links, pixels, HTML, tags, etc. are in order and dialed in for all media content
Job requirements
Entry level okay. Experience in affiliate marketing or a related field is preferred
Experience with email marketing platforms
Experience with Google Sheets and other data analysis tools a plus
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong attention to detail as this role will deal with lots of links, pixels, HTML, tags in links, budget spend numbers, etc.
Technically savvy, comfortable using multiple software applications (i.e., proficiency in Word, Excel, Photoshop)
Strong multitasking skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Self-motivated, committed, tenacious, and goal-oriented
Experience with Unbounce, LeadPages, or similar is a huge plus
Training hours will be PST timezone
Preferred Skills:
Experience with affiliate management platforms (e.g., HasOffers, Everflow)
Previous media buying experience
Experience with other digital marketing channels (e.g., social media, paid search)
Strong understanding of affiliate marketing best practices
